As you get older, you get wrinkles"well, at least most people do. Unless you can afford plastic surgery and expensive wrinkle creams wrinkles are almost certain. For everybody else, should we give up on smoothing out our wrinkles or is there something that can actually help us to rid ourselves of them?
Is there any treatment that is not cosmetic surgery that can help us to get rid of wrinkles, or even prevent them from ever happening to us?
It is unlikely that we can avoid wrinkles completely because they are just part of getting older. There is no eighty or ninety year old who is wrinkle free. There are several things you can do to hold off the inevitable wrinkles though and minimize them when they do show up.
Taking care of yourself physically is a major factor in dealing with wrinkles and avoiding them. If you take regular exercise, drink lots of water and take adequate rest, your skin will be radiant and healthy.
Exercise helps to circulate blood and oxygen to every cell in your body and this includes your skin. This fresh blood and oxygen is going to help your skin glow and will also help to get rid of dead skin cells and other impurities. This too will help prevent wrinkles.
Water will keep you adequately hydrated so that your skin is less dry, and dry skin leads to wrinkles. If you don't get enough water from what you eat and drink, your skin will suffer the most. And by resting adequately, your body can repair and heal itself and this means your skin as well.
Stay out of the sun! This cannot be stressed enough. They say that the sun is one of the most real villains when it comes to poor skin health and wrinkles are included in this. UV rays are very damaging to the skin. Do you tan? Stop it! No salons and no direct sunlight; that is how you keep your skin healthy and as wrinkle free as possible.
The "healthy glow" from the sun or tanning salon is really just your skin burning, like if you had touched a hot stove. If you are outside for any length of time, you should wear a visor or hat. This keeps the sun off your face and means you are less likely to wrinkle. A tan doesn't last forever but wrinkles do.
Of course using the right products on your face can also go a long way toward avoiding wrinkles as well. Using a good moisturizer under your makeup during the day and a nighttime cream as well will help your body repair itself. These too will keep your skin soft and healthy.
Wrinkles are coming; expect that. Nobody said when, and there are products to help you fight the inevitable. Find the ones that work for you!
